Spring Break will be March 15-19.
10 Fun Things to Do During Spring Break…
1. Finish that book you started but had to put down due to school.
2. Turn off the radio and listen to some of your old stuff.
3. Spontaneous road trip… Doesn’t matter where, just pile everyone into the car and drive.
4. Go to the beach or the lake. Spring break doesn’t feel like spring break without at least one trip to the water.
5. Go camping. This is a great way to spend time with your family and friends.
6. BBQ. I don’t think I need to explain this one.
7. Catch a good movie.
8. Go to a concert.
9. Have a party. Invite a few friends over and just hang out. (Be sure to OK this with your parents first.)
10. Try something new. New food, hobby, music, or meet someone new.
Top 10 things Not To To this Spring Break
1. Get a tatoo. It’s not that cool, and unless you plan on riding a chopper into your golden years, you probably won’t want it forever.
2. Break a limb on the first day. Is trying to jump from the second story of your house into the pool really necessary?
3. Break the law. It’s just plain WRONG!! Jail isn’t glamorous, and though it would make an awesome story, it would compromise your future and it’s just not worth it!
4. Get grounded. This is a total waste of your vacation time.
5. Enter an eating contest. Even if you win, you may land yourself in bed with a very sick belly-ache.
6. Get a sunburn. Ouch! Once again, you’ll be stuck inside, feeling miserable, and missing out on the fun.
7. Volunteer to babysit, housesit, or any kind of sit. You won’t get freedom like this again till summer, so no sitting.
8. Break up with your boyfriend/girlfriend. There really is no good time to do this!
9. Run away and join the circus. If you’ve messed up your life so badly that you think have to do this, just make a fresh start after spring break.
10. Lie on the couch and play video games/watch TV the entire week. You’ll gain 5 pounds, be pale and sluggish, and you’ll go back to school without any adventures to brag about.
