Welcome to Altus – a great place to live, work, and enjoy life.  A population of around 22,000 people lives in this growing community which is truly a "City with a Future to Share." Located in the southwestern corner of the state of Oklahoma, our city is home to Altus Air Force Base. With a backdrop of the Quartz Mountains to our north, Altus is surrounded by rich, irrigated farmland.
